5 cups large flake old-fashioned oats

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup flaked coconut

1/2 cup wheat germ & 1/2 cup oat bran

1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp nutmeg; 1 tsp ground ginger

1/2 cup water

1/2 cupThunder Bay OliVine Persian Lime Olive Oil

3 tbsp. Thunder Bay OliVine Coconut Balsamic Vinegar

1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds

1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup slivered almonds

1 cup dried fruit (cranberries, blueberries, raisins, etc.)


1:  Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C)

2:  Mix oats, brown sugar, coconut, wheat germ, oat bran, both seeds, almonds, cinnamon,

     nutmeg, and ginger together in a large bowl.   Stir water, oil, and vinegar together and

     pour over oat mixture.  Mix and spread onto a baking sheet.

3:  Bake in preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes.  MIX IN dried fruit in LAST 15 minute

     cycle.  Watch, depending on your oven stop cooking once granola is golden brown and

     crunchy, about 1 hour.  Transfer to a bowl.
